Hexane Isomers

You can see models of the five structural isomers of hexane.
They all have the same formula, C6H14, but their structures are different:

  • one of them is an unbranched chain with six carbon atoms;
  • two of them have a main chain with five carbon atoms and a branch;
  • two of them have a main chain with four carbon atoms and two branches.

Select the isomer you want to study using the buttons.
You can call up a menu by right-clicking over the model - have fun!
