Glass laboratory apparatus for adding a set volume of liquid. It is used when you want to add the same accurate volume of liquid over and over again. They come in different sizes, typically 10, 25 and 50 cm³ (ml). You need to use a pipette filler to get liquid into the pipette, but you then let it drain out on its own.
